"Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared" (Ex. 23:20). My desire is to be always in my right place, and I am most grateful for the guidance I have gained from the study of the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

I am very grateful that I married a Christian Scientist. My husband and I received wonderful help and inspiration in bringing up our family of three children. Christian Science was of great benefit to them not only in healing sickness but in social and school affairs as well.

I am particularly grateful for our home, which at one time was nearly lost. During World War II one corner of the foundation of our house started to slip, and it was most difficult to obtain help to repair it. Eventually we obtained the services of a contractor, who promised to put in a new foundation if we would give him some money first. We were reluctant to do this, but felt we had no choice. After the money was paid to the contractor, he put beams under the house and tore away the foundation. Then he departed and did not return.
