It is with a great sense of gratitude that I submit this testimony, trusting it will encourage others when in need of help to depend on the truths of Christian Science. I know that when this Science is correctly and faithfully applied it does heal. Christian Science was introduced to me at a time when I was very much in need of help, and I have had many healings.

There was one that to me has been outstanding. An ugly and irritating condition manifested itself on my face. It was very painful and at times almost unbearable. I did not want to be seen by anybody. This condition was completely healed through the loving and patient help of a Christian Science practitioner. In a comparatively short time I had an entirely new layer of skin, which was fair and unblemished.

This healing reminded me of the experience of the leper Naaman, who dipped seven times in the river Jordan as he had been instructed to do by Elisha, and then his flesh became like that of a little child. (See II Kings 5: 1-14.) My healing occurred about six years ago, and it has been permanent. My hairdresser occasionally remarks that my skin is in such good condition that my appearance is that of a person ten to fifteen years younger than I am.
