It was my privilege to have been brought up in Christian Science from early childhood. In difficulties, great or small, this Science has been my unfailing aid. My great desire is to be able to help others as I have been helped. I should like to tell of two outstanding healings I have received.

When very young, I married and went to the Far East. Later, my mother, who was a Christian Science practitioner, came out to visit me. Soon afterward I became very ill with malaria in its worst form. My mother gave me treatment, and as soon as I could be moved, passages were booked for England. I was carried onto the ship in a very weak condition and put to bed.

The ship's doctor, who knew that we were Christian Scientists, told my mother that I could not possibly live through the voyage. But we knew that God was looking after us and that the Word of God is all powerful. By the end of the voyage, there was much improvement, and after a few months I became entirely well. Since then there has been no return of the malaria. The healing was complete.
