In gratitude to patient and loving God I submit this long-overdue testimony. Through the study and application of Christian Science I have been healed physically, morally, and financially. For these healings I am indeed grateful. But I am more grateful for a better understanding of God's allness and ever-presence as taught in Christian Science.

A healing of loneliness has been of great help to me. After the passing of my husband and the sale of our home, I found myself in a small apartment and with limited activities. At this time loneliness all but overpowered me. One evening I felt that I must get out and go somewhere—anywhere. Then my glance fell upon the table where lay the Bible, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and the precious periodicals from The Christian Science Publishing Society.

Beholding these treasures I declared aloud, "Why, this very room is filled with the most wonderful guests: the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, Mrs. Eddy's inspired interpretation of the Bible, and all those wonderful articles on Christian Science!" I was instantaneously healed of the deep sense of loneliness, and I have since spent many happy years reading the literature and sharing it with others.
