Through Christian Science my aunt was healed of paralysis of the face. When I was a young girl I visited this aunt in the country. While there I sprained my ankle. My aunt talked to me about God, and I walked with freedom right away. I thought it was wonderful that I did not have to see a doctor.

Many years later, when our baby girl had been bitten severely by mosquitoes, a friend gave my husband a mixture which she thought would stop the itching. It proved to be carbolic acid. My husband, who was not interested in Christian Science, went to the nearest drug store, and the druggist told him the baby would be scarred for life. Work was taken up in Science by a friend, and after a few days the baby had no marks of any kind.

Our family has had many healings. Among them were those of a broken collarbone, burns, influenza, and of growths which just fell away. In an automobile accident I suffered broken ribs and severe bruises. Without the use of material means of healing, I was able in three days to be up and about. All effects of the accident soon disappeared.
