Some years ago my life was despaired of, due to several physical disorders, some of which were leakage of the heart, a severe nervous breakdown, and gastritis. I was filled with self-pity and depression, had no desire to live, and only wished that somehow I might draw close to God. The Lord's Prayer was almost constantly in my thought.

As a result of my deep desire to know God, Christian Science was presented to me. Never for a moment since that time have I doubted that this Science is the answer to every problem, and I know that there can be no reality in anything that opposes the truth which is revealed in its teachings. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I have been healed of pneumonia, severe headaches, toothaches, and chronic constipation. Lost articles have been found, and inharmony in human relationships has been overcome.

Christian Science has proved a great blessing to me in raising three boys. They have been healed of childhood diseases, results of accidents, and other difficulties. One boy was protected when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a car at a blind intersection. The bicycle was damaged beyond repair, but the child was not touched. At the time this happened I was talking on the telephone to another student of Christian Science who was helping me work out some other problems. The truth was being firmly declared, and the statement was made that there is nothing but good going on. Soon afterward the children came in, telling me of what had happened and of the child's complete protection. The other problems were healed as well.
