On page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

Some time ago we decided to sell our house, and with the help of a Christian Science practitioner we did so without the usual brokerage fee. The sale came about quickly and harmoniously, and the purchaser agreed to a waiting period of several months. The end of this period drew near, and still we had no definite home in view for ourselves. Locations in various parts of the country were investigated without success. Prayerful work was done, and just one month before the closing date, a very suitable place was found.

We had ample time for repairs before occupancy, but the cost of the repairs was quite high; and since we were not to receive the money from the sale of our house until the closing date, we appeared to be in a predicament. However, we refused to believe that God ever presents a partial solution. Since His reciprocal law governs all, we saw that every need was already supplied in Mind. In a very short time a satisfactory estimate for the repairs was received from one who agreed to take the work and wait until after the closing date of our sale for payment. This demonstration of God's care was just another proof that when self is silenced we become good listeners.
