I wish to express my gratitude for the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy and for all that Christian Science has done for me. My interest in Science began when I saw our two-year-old grandchild healed solely through reliance on God. After exhaustive tests and treatments in a hospital, the child had been sent home as mentally undeveloped and incurable. She could not talk or walk, or even sit up unless supported with pillows.

The mother was not a Christian Scientist, but she requested that my wife, who had been a student of Christian Science for several years, take the child and try to help her. Christian Science was quite equal to the task, and our granddaughter was completely healed. Today she is a healthy, beautiful girl of eleven and has no difficulty at all in keeping near the top in schoolwork. This healing was convincing proof of the Scriptural statement (Matt. 19:26), "With God all things are possible."
