GAINING BETTER BALANCE
Through the study of Christian Science, the doer of God's Word learns to love the balancing qualities of composure, patience, and love. Although vigor and enthusiasm have their place, they must be tempered with serenity to accomplish great things.
Unbalance may appear as impatience, impulsiveness, hurry, push, and excitement. Living powerfully and energetically need not mean living explosively if we equalize the energy with holy calm.
Every enthusiastic person must make the effort to attain spiritual balance. Equanimity is unexcitability; it is the poise of Soul.
