As a living witness of many blessing and healings through the power of God's Word, I gratefully submit this testimony. Over twenty years ago Christian Science was first introduced to me while I was suffering from a severe attack of sciatica. A dear friend and neighbor asked me to read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I did so to please her. Next I read the biography "Mary Baker Eddy: A Life Size Portrait" by Lyman P. Powell, and it was then I began to understand Mrs. Eddy and her teachings. My friend and I read together the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and the sciatica was healed.

Although the seed of Truth had been sown, my sincere study did not start until some time later. In the years since then the members of our family have had many healings, including those of constipation, a throat condition, and skin infection.

I have experienced numerous healings through my own understanding and through the consecrated work of practitioners. Some of these healings were of insomnia, bronchitis, sore throat, neuritis, and a bad kidney infection. Many lessons had to be learned in patience, steadfastness, and radical reliance on Truth. My family and I have been protected from accidents through listening to the still small voice of Truth.
