RADIO PROGRAM No. 137 - How Prayer Corrects Physical Handicaps

On this program Mrs. Ethel Hunn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, told of her own experience. The program was as follows:

Speaker: Quite frequently people think of themselves or others as having been born with certain limitations or weaknesses or even with a physical handicap which they feel can't be overcome. But there's a totally different concept of man, of his true, spiritual nature, made in the image of God, which brings healing and release from such disabilities. Our guest today is Mrs. Ethel Hunn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She's going to tell us how she was healed of such a difficulty. Won't you go ahead now, Mrs. Hunn?

Mrs. Hunn: I was born with a serious eye difficulty. One of my eyes was straight, and the other was very badly turned in. When I was about ten, my mother took me to an eminent eye specialist who examined my eyes and said they were in very poor condition. He called it internal strabismus. He predicted that by the age of eighteen I would be blind. I was fitted with glasses at the time in the hope that they would help.
