It would take the pages of a book to tell of all the healings and uplifting experiences our family of four have had through the help of Christian Science. Because of attacks of biliousness and indigestion, my life as a child included almost daily doses from a medicine chest. As I grew to young womanhood these attacks became so severe that I ate little besides dry toast. In addition, another difficulty from which I suffered periodically caused much pain.

My introduction to Christian Science came when I was loaned a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I eagerly began a diligent study of Science and Health, and to the amazement of my parents I was healed in a few months.

Much prayerful work was done for our two sons during the Second World War, and they came through unharmed. About this time sciatic rheumatism came upon me very suddenly. A Christian Science practitioner gave me loving and effective help, and the beautiful hymn beginning, "I walk with Love along the way" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 139), was with me as I was regaining my ability to walk normally. The condition was completely healed, and a small goiter was dissolved at the same time. A few years later a painful internal condition disappeared with the help of the same practitioner.
