With a heart overflowing with gratitude to God, I give this testimony. I came into Christian Science many years ago because I was in need of healing. At that time I had a severe case of insomnia which material means had failed to heal. When I felt at the end of my physical endurance, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was presented to me. After reading the chapter on Prayer I knew I had found what I needed.

I studied this book with deep interest, and in a short time I asked help from a Christian Science practitioner. I shall always remember the peace that came over me and the confidence I felt during my first visit to the practitioner's home. I soon began to improve, and although my healing was slow, I shall always be grateful for the better understanding I gained of Christian Science.

Since that time our family has been blessed with many proofs of God's loving care. Some of the many healings in our home include those of shingles, milk leg extreme soreness at the base of the spine, a severe case of scalp eczema, an internal growth, and a bladder difficulty. Also, we have had numerous proofs of God's protection while traveling long distances. Many business problems have been met through the realization that all things work out harmoniously when we put our whole trust in God.
