"O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever" (Ps. 107:1). It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude that I give this testimony of healing through Christian Science. I had been sick for many years with nervous trouble and a weak heart. After the doctors said there was no more hope for me, a Christian Science practitioner, who was my neighbor, came by to see me late one afternoon. She asked, "Why don't you let God heal you?"

I said, "I have prayed so much; I guess it is God's will that I die."

She replied: "God's will is good; He does not know evil. He gives only life; He knows no death."
