DIVINE COMFORT

Who told you he was dead?
Was it the voice of Truth that claimed this lie?
No! God is indestructible, is Life eternal,
And man, His idea, image, cannot die.

Oh, do not lay him in a sepulcher,
But hasten now, remove the stone of grief.
Our Master proved the grave a powerless prison;
Your beloved wakens to annul death's false belief!
