RADIO PROGRAM No. 95 - Polio Healed Through Prayer

On this program Sidney C. Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, told of his own experience, as follows:

Early in June, about twelve years ago, our son became very ill. A Christian Science practitioner was called upon for help. Because of the symptoms, we felt it was our duty as law-abiding citizens to report our son's illness to the city health authorities. The health department doctor came to our home and made a thorough examination. He said the boy had a severe case of polio.

We told the doctor we were Christian Scientists and that we wanted to rely entirely on Christian Science treatment for the boy, at home. We obeyed quarantine instructions; and the Christian Science practitioner took up the work, praying systematically for the boy.
