RADIO PROGRAM No. 89 - A Child's Healing

On this program Mrs. Marjorie Simpson of Wellington, New Zealand, told of her own experience, as follows:

When I first heard of Christian Science it puzzled me, and I argued with many people about it. But I did respect and admire many Christian Scientists. Still, it seemed to me there was no logical explanation of their ideas.

The years went by, and I read a lot of things by people who opposed Christian Science and said they were exposing it. So, I thought from this I knew all about it. Then after some years my opinions changed somewhat, and I decided that if it was true, I was silly not to have the benefits people claimed it brought; and if, as I suspected, it was too good to be true, careful study should reveal that. So I started to study. We had many experiences in our family after that —problems of supply were solved, and we did have healings of minor troubles, but I did not really accept Christian Science or believe these healings to be more than coincidence.
