In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 192), "Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power." This wonderful statement of truth was proved to me when I was trying to realize God's power and presence in helping a dear one. I had worn glasses for five years and had been told that it was very necessary that I continue to wear them.

One morning when starting my daily study of Christian Science I left off the glasses, and there were no bad effects. Since that day, about five years ago. I have not worn glasses or had any need of them, although my work consists of being a statistical clerk and dealing with figures all day. There has not been the slightest difficulty in doing the work. I wish to express gratitude for this healing and many others over a period of thirty-eight years.

An outstanding healing was demonstrated when my daughter was four years of age. While suffering from influenza she appeared to be passing on, and no breathing was evident. The practitioner who was called helped us to realize that God was her Life, and she revived. She was up playing the next morning, entirely free.
