Christian Science has done so much for me and my family that I should like to express my gratitude by telling of some healings we have had. One evening as I was getting dinner I turned over a large pan of smoking grease onto my leg and foot. I called a practitioner, who lovingly aided me with her prayerful work. The following evening I was able to act as a dance instructor, and because the healing had been complete, the evening was one of the most enjoyable I had that year.

At another time, while I was putting dinner on the table, my ten-months-old son tipped a cup of very hot liquid over his face, neck, and chest. I picked him up and rocked him, singing Mrs. Eddy's hymn beginning (Poems, p. 14), "Shepherd, show me how to go," while an older son called the practitioner. The healing work was accomplished so quickly that the baby and the rest of the family were able to eat dinner before it had time to get cold.

I am very grateful for Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Although I have been reading from it for nineteen years I still find new and wonderful thoughts in it. It is one of the smallest books I own, and yet it has more in it than my largest dictionary.—(Mrs.) Priscilla Kaeseman, Detroit, Michigan.
