THE UNDIMMED RADIANCE OF NOON

Man does not bear the burdens of the past,
Nor is he victim to relentless fate.
Kaleidoscopic views of error cannot last,
Nor can the fleeting yesterdays leave weight
Upon the child of God. He is immune
To passing time and all its false belief.
Man sees the undimmed radiance of noon,
Wherein there is no darkness, fear, nor grief.
For him death has no victory, no sting.
God's day is here and now, eternally.
Beneath the shelter of Love's outspread wing
Man is secure, upright, forever free.
The past and future make no real demands
Because our times are ever in His hands.
