In Isaiah (52:7) we read:...

In Isaiah (52:7) we read: "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" I have often wanted to tell the world of the blessings that our family has received through Christian Science, but words have seemed inadequate. It has been my great joy to witness many instantaneous healings and to see depraved appetites and various so-called incurable diseases overcome.

I should like to relate the healing of a member of our family. Our son had a habit of riding his motorcycle very fast. On one occasion he could not stop in time and ran into a team of mules pulling a wagon. The wagon tongue struck him at the base of the brain and knocked him unconscious. The driver of the wagon took him to a hospital and then told the boy's father, "I have taken your son to the hospital dead." This news came to me over the telephone.

I went to the hospital in a taxi. My husband came out to meet me, and I told him that we would take our son home. The head nurse said, "Your son is dead." I did not reply, but the angel message came to me, "There is no death." We went into the hospital and sat by our son for about two hours. Then the nurse came in and said she would call the ambulance for me if I wished to take him home. As he had manifested no life, I silently prayed, "O God, tell me what to say." Just then, in a very emphatic tone, our son said, "I will not ride in that ambulance." In a few minutes he arose, and with some aid from his father he walked out, got into a taxi, and rode home with us. The next day he went to school and was soon free from all effects of the accident.
