WE ARE ALWAYS WITH GOD

[Of Special Interest to Children]

One day when Judy and her mother and father came home from the Christian Science Sunday School, Judy asked, "What does 'God is omnipresent' mean?"

Judy's father said: "Omnipresent means always present, always right here and everywhere. God is with you and He is with me, even if you and I are asleep in different rooms, or if I am at work and you are at home. God is everywhere all at once."

Alter lunch Judy's father took their copy of Prose Works, a collection of writings by Mary Baker Eddy, and read from it (Message to The Mother Church for 1902, p. 12): "As a drop of water is one with the ocean, a ray of light one with the sun, even so God and man, Father and son, are one in being. The Scripture reads: 'For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.'"
