LOVE'S INEXHAUSTIBLE SUPPLY

Picture to yourself a large city of thousands of homes bathed in the sunlight of a clear summer morning. Gradually the residents awake and open their windows and doors to let the light stream into their rooms. Is there less light outside after the sun's rays have flooded the thousands of homes with light? No! According to the astronomers the sun has never ceased sending out its liquid gold to flood the earth with light for millions of years, and it will continue to do so.

Our Leader refers to the sun as a symbol of God, of Soul, which constantly and uninterruptedly pours forth its heavenly riches to bless, enlighten, and sustain its vast creation of spiritual ideas. In her comforting and inspiring article on the subject of angels, Mary Baker Eddy says (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307): "What a glorious inheritance is given to us through the understanding of omnipresent Love! More we cannot ask: more we do not want: more we cannot have."

God, or Soul, is the only Mind, and this Mind includes all of its countless perfect ideas. Inexhaustible infinite Mind is the Mind of every one of its ideas; therefore each idea, from the least to greatest, has immediately available to it all the spiritual resources of Mind. There is no such condition as lack anywhere in God's kingdom. Spiritual abundance, unlimited good, inexhaustible riches, are everywhere available, to every idea, throughout eternity.
