Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science, for what it has done for me and my family, and for what it is doing for the whole world. I am giving this testimony with the sincere desire that it may help others to rely upon the healing truth which Mrs. Eddy reveals in Science and Health and to have the joy, peace, and freedom that I have experienced.

Christian Science came to our family through a healing of my mother when I was a small girl. I attended the Christian Science Sunday School and enjoyed many blessings in my school life and later in my business life.

A few years ago a small growth appeared on my face and developed into cancer. In my business life, operations are timed, that is, it is necessary for projects to be accomplished at a particular time. I found that I was allowing myself to feel that I had to time God's work also and that the healing must appear at once. Becoming impatient and fearful when it did not, I asked for the help of a practitioner, who lovingly reminded me that all is Mind, that Mind is not displaying a blemish, and that as God's perfect reflection I could not do so either. She referred me to Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 393), "Be firm in your understanding that the divine Mind governs, and that in Science man reflects God's government."
