Christian Science without doubt...

Christian Science without doubt brings salvation to the world; it has proved to be my salvation since I began its study about nineteen years ago. When rightly applied it has met our every need, many times instantaneously. However, I can truthfully say that those problems which have worked out more slowly have been a means of much progress and growth.

In rearing two daughters we made many demands upon Science, and it never failed us. Through the application of its truths the children were kept free from many so-called contagious diseases. They were healed of defective hearing, carbuncles, an infected finger, earaches, diseased tonsils, food poisoning, a severed artery, frequent nosebleeds, and colds.

Early in our study of Christian Science one daughter became ill with influenza, but we worked in Science during the day, and she apparently felt much better. At bedtime, after declaring some of the truths that had been learned, she went to sleep in comfort. During the night, however, we were awakened, and I found her crying and quite feverish, saying that she was dying. Although I felt too new in Science to meet such a problem, I turned to God as I had never done before, declaring that God was her Life and that since she could not be separated from God, she certainly could not be separated from Life. After about fifteen minutes of prayerful work the problem was met, and she awakened the next morning entirely free.
