EXAMINATION TIME IS OPPORTUNITY TIME

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

Goliath caused great consternation among the Israelites when he flung his challenge at them, but David, the shepherd lad, accepted it as an opportunity to glorify God. And we are told that David completely vanquished the boastful Philistine (I Sam. 17).

The alert student of Christian Science shepherds his thinking and glorifies God by recognizing Him as the one and only Mind. He acknowledges man, his real self, to be the exact image of this Mind, knowing by reflection everything God knows. Thus consciousness is filled with a healing joy and confidence which leaves no room for the negative suggestions of the so-called carnal mind.

Equipped with such spiritual understanding, no one need encounter the Goliaths of apprehension and doubt as examination time draws near. Indeed, one can truly welcome such tests as opportunities to demonstrate the perfect intelligence of Mind.
