It is gratitude for God's goodness...

It is gratitude for God's goodness that motivates each testimony recorded in the Christian Science periodicals or given at the testimony meeting in Churches of Christ, Scientist. This gratitude prompts me to give a testimony of my blessings.

My introduction to Christian Science came a little over fifteen years ago when a friend, who had experienced a remarkable healing through this demonstrable religion, asked me to read the Christian Science textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I shall long remember the enlightenment that came to me from reading only a few moments from the chapter on Prayer.

From that day Christian Science has progressively increased my welfare, and many physical ills have been overcome by the application of the divine rules so clearly portrayed in this wonderful textbook, which makes the Bible so understandable. For more than twelve years I was not absent from my work one day because of ill-health.
