IT IS MY HEART THAT SINGS
Although
I know no music,
No accent weak or strong,
The rhythm of the heart
Flows out into a song
Of God's encircling love.
It lifts and swells as though
A thousand tongues were singing
This melody I know.
For Truth has spoken out—
Such purity it brings
I do not need the music;
It is my heart that sings.
Esther A. Callihan
