I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I find the testimonies of healing in The Christian Science Journal and the Sentinel so helpful. I attend the Sunday services and Wednesday testimony meetings in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist; they are like a guiding light. In years gone by I studied Christian Science somewhat, but I later drifted away from its teachings.

A few years ago I decided to attend a lecture on Christian Science which was given on a Sunday afternoon, and that evening I attended the church service after an absence of many years, I met persons there who lived in my neighborhood, and they helped me to gain a clearer understanding of what Truth really is. I began to ponder the good which is always waiting for us. Now I am happy to say that I have been led back to Christian Science and have been lovingly received into a branch church.

One of my friends mentioned the benefit of reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy completely through each year. I proceeded to do this; and while I was on the last chapter, called "Fruitage," which gives testimonies of healings through reading Science and Health, I suddenly noticed that many of the testimonies included healings of the need to wear glasses. About two months before this my glasses had begun to annoy me and were not comfortable; so when I read about the healings in these testimonies I removed my glasses and have not had them on since. I had previously worn glasses for twenty years.
