When I recall all the wonderful blessings that have come into my life through the study and application of the truth as taught in Christian Science, I say with the Psalmist (Ps. 40:5), "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered."

In bringing up a family of four children we have found Christian Science of great value not only in the healing of sickness, but in protection from accident. We have had healings of scarlet fever, inflammatory rheumatism, ivy poisoning, stings by bees and hornets, colds, coughs, and protection from contagion. Our two sons were wonderfully protected while serving in the United States Army Air Corps during the Second World War.

At the time I was soloist in a church I went through deep waters and found these words a source of great spiritual strength (Prov. 3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." The difficulty was soon healed.
