FROM ANNUAL REPORTS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION

Our Newspaper Held in High Esteem

Lanarkshire, Scotland

Progress continues to be made in our relations with editors in every department of the newspaper world. The Christian Science Monitor, welcomed and read by editors and staff in the large offices of what may rightly be called Scotland's leading newspapers, continues to hold aloft the torch of Truth, setting up the standard in the guidance of world opinion.

One of these editors expressed it thus: "I consider The Christian Science Monitor to be the greatest positive newspaper force in the world. Its news presentation, its interpretation of the news, its Home Forum page—all conspire to make it what a world newspaper should be—guidance for the people towards God. The Monitor, instead of drifting with the tide, is creating circumstances which will turn the tide."
