I have enjoyed the benefits of Christian Science for more than twenty years, for which fact I owe a great debt of gratitude to God.

When I became a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, I had a financial problem, and I shall never forget or cease to be grateful for the kindness that was expressed to me by the members of my branch church. Some of them endeavored to find me a better situation than the one I had at that time, but I learned that human methods cannot really solve our problems for us.

Ultimately I decided to go to a Christian Science practitioner and ask for his assistance. He was able to help me realize, to some extent at least, that opportunity, progress, success, supply, and abundance are in reality ideas within me—ideas I already have, and not things I need to look for. Furthermore, he explained that not only are these ideas within me, but even the kingdom of heaven itself is within. Is it any wonder that in two days I received a letter from a firm asking me to attend an interview for an important position?
