Christian Science came to me with its healing message over twenty-seven years ago, bringing permanent release from a physical difficulty for which medical remedies could offer no help. The testimony of that first healing was published in the Sentinel in 1926.

The blessings which have continued to come to me during the intervening years are many. They include physical healings of many kinds, guidance in business, and protection during World War II.

An outstanding healing I received was at a critical period of my life. For nine months at frequent intervals I was stricken with attacks of severe internal pain, accompanied at times with paralysis of the limbs. Each attack was overcome with the loving help of a dear friend and consecrated practitioner. The last one was more severe than any of the others had been and was accompanied by great mental depression. For two days it seemed that the last enemy was very near; but the faithful practitioner never wavered. Lovingly but firmly my thought was aroused and turned Godward, and I received new hope and courage.
