I received my introduction to Christian Science in 1936, when our two daughters started to attend a Christian Science Sunday School. One of them manifested symptoms of a cold one day. It was instantly healed when she took her stand against my suggestions of dieting. However, at that time I gave Christian Science no credit for the healing.

About two years later I had a cold which did not respond to my idol, diet. My wife persuaded me to request help from a Christian Science practitioner. I telephoned for an appointment, intending to drive to the practitioner's home; but my car would not start. I began walking, but had not gone over two blocks when it began to rain, and I got quite wet. Though I knew very little about Christian Science, I had no fear. When I reached the practitioner's home all symptoms of the cold were gone.

Since then I have been healed through Christian Science of constipation, rheumatism, boils, hemorrhoids, and many minor injuries. I had an instantaneous healing of rupture.
