I turned to Christian Science in desperation because of much suffering occasioned by a nervous breakdown. Although my healing was a slow process, the gradual lessening of fear and suffering was a blessed relief, giving me renewed courage to press on, and at last the nervous condition was completely healed.

In the past twenty-five years Christian Science has overcome many difficulties for me and for members of my family. Among the physical healings we have had are those of so-called children's diseases, warts, burns, stings, colds, headache, influenza, infection that had advanced to an alarming stage, and grief at the passing on of a loved one. Also through the application of the truth as taught in Christian Science lost articles were recovered, protection from accident was experienced, and a home was found when the prospect appeared very dubious.

I shall never cease to be grateful for God's guidance and for the solving of problems associated with the care of children. Innumerable times the recognition of God as our loving Father-Mother has lifted my thought from fear to confidence. Our Christian Science periodicals are a source of constant inspiration and timely help for which I am most thankful. I acknowledge my gratitude for the wonderful privileges of class instruction, of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and of service in church activities.
