Many times when I have been reading a testimony or an article in a Christian Science periodical such a sense of gratitude for God's goodness and availability has welled up in me that the tears have flowed, I should like to add my thanks in those testifying to the efficacy of this Science, as presented by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

When my little son was learning to walk, someone closed a door on his finger, crushing it. As soon as the truth was declared the healing was immediate, and he ceased caving at once. At another time my six-year-old daughter came home from school with a badly festered finger, saving the teacher had said she would have lanced it had she not feared she might be blamed if am thing adverse resulted. The next morning I asked the child to sit down, and we repeated "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468) until we were assured of the truth it states. When she returned after school, only pink skin remained, without even an evidence of where the old skin had come away.

Through the earnest work of a practitioner this daughter was healed of a large birthmark when she was a baby. When later her own baby daughter manifested a similar birthmark I helped her to realize the truth about the situation, and never again was there any evidence of the mark. I am happy to state that my daughter's two children are now learning of Truth in a Christian Science Sunday School.
