Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Early meetings in a private home, back in 1916, were recalled last Sunday when special dedication services were conducted at the recently completed church edifice of the Christian Science Society, Oakville. During the services a brief historical sketch was presented by the First Reader.

First gatherings of a few... were followed by regular Sunday services as the group increased in number, and later a hall was rented for the services. In 1919 the group ...commenced Sunday School classes, and moved twice more to more suitable quarters.
