It is with much humble gratitude to God that I wish to testify of the wonderful truth that has been revealed to the world through Christian Science. As a housewife and mother I have found in Science inspiration, guidance, and help beyond measure in going about my daily tasks. My little boy and girl twins, now five years old, have been protected in many ways. They were healed of a condition of measles and heavy colds within a week through the faithful work of a practitioner and through humble, prayerful work on my part.

I myself have had many healings since I first became interested in Christian Science many years ago. The smoking habit vanished the first day I began to study the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly.

A recent healing of jaundice came as I learned to replace undesirable traits of character with those of gentleness, tolerance, kindly attention, and patience. This healing brought much awakening, for I had been mesmerized by a great fear, so much so that for a long period I ate and slept very little. Although other members of my family are not interested in Christian Science, the kindly help I received opened my eyes to the great need I had to let my light shine more in my own home, I saw that I needed to overcome error's subtle suggestion that it is difficult to demonstrate the truth when the thoughts of others are at variance with it. Through the loving work of a practitioner and the kindly help extended me by Christian Science friends, as well as through earnest striving on my part to set my own mental house in order, I came through the darkness of error into the light of Truth.
