Christian Science has answered my questions and desires in fullest measure. Words can never convey all that it has done for me. Unhappiness which came to our family when I was a child resulted in a deep longing within me to find the truth about existence. This was satisfied when a friend lent my mother the Christian Science textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I had already heard of this religion through another little girl, and what she told me of it appealed to me at once. While the book was in our house, I read it as much as possible; and although Christian Science was not accepted by the others, spiritual light began to dawn for me at that time, and it has never left me.

Yearning for progress in many ways, I went alone several years after this to another city, and while there I occasionally attended a Church of Christ, Scientist. The plans I had made did not end happily, and I returned in disappointment. The lesson was thus early learned that one must master his problems where he is and not try to run away from them. I can see now that I was being prepared to turn more and more to God, and within the year after going back home I procured a copy of Science and Health of my own. My understanding and application of the truths I learned changed several unpleasant conditions for the better.

A number of years later I joined The Mother Church and a branch church. The necessity for this step had not impressed me until a practitioner said. "Oh, I see; you are just dabbling in Christian Science, aren't you?" The words so arrested my thought that I saw the error of procrastination and entered into membership as soon as possible. Then true progress became increasingly evident in my affairs. As I became an active worker, one healing after another took place. Unhappiness fled away, so that I felt like a new creature. For the first time in my life I had real joy, and the faultless logic of Science and Health satisfied me more and more. Conditions along every line improved step by step.
