BE YE RECONCILED

(II Corinthians 5:20)

"Be ye reconciled to God,"
Paul to men of Corinth said,
speaking in the Saviour's stead.
All who seek to enter in
to man's high inheritance
and in place of bitter pain
find their health and innocence,
first must pass beneath that rod,
"Be ye reconciled to God."

Be ye reconciled to Love.
Do not with frustrated will
fight the ways of Principle.
Though today you may not see
how Love's paths a blessing hold,
yield not to despondency,
stubborn grief, or anger cold.
Kindly all Love's ways shall prove.
Be ye reconciled to Love.

Be ye reconciled to Truth.
Let no pride of intellect
hide the reasoning correct,
which reveals that perfect Mind
has inevitably made
perfect concept unconfined,
by no subtle lie misled,
man at peace with heaven and earth.
Be ye reconciled to Truth.

Be ye reconciled to Life.
With glad heart accept today
all it asks of work and play.
Joy shall loose the fettered limb,
cleanse the wound, and heal the scar.
Sight no passing years can dim
shall discern man free and fair,
active, upright, whole, and safe.
Be ye reconciled to Life.
