A good many years ago I learned...
A good many years ago I learned of Christian Science when I was healed instantaneously, through the work of a faithful practitioner, of an attack of appendicitis.
Christian Science was a wonderful help when our children were small. I should like to tell of one healing in particular.
When our baby boy was a few days old, a fear of infection was expressed by one who had come into the home to help. I denied the error laughingly, but failed to do the necessary mental work. Later that week, while bathing the baby, I was horrified to see one of his tiny forefingers showing all the signs of infection. I reached for a needle, intending to open what seemed to be pus sacs near the fingernail. As clearly as if someone had spoken, came these words: "That is the worst thing you can do." Prayerfully I asked, "What is the best thing I can do?" The answer came, "Get Science and Health and read."
