I became interested in Christian Science in 1917. I had been bedridden for a whole year. A friend asked my mother if we would try Christian Science, and inasmuch as my mother was a medical nurse, she said she was not interested for herself, but if I wanted Christian Science treatment, it would be all right with her.

The practitioner was called on the telephone on a Wednesday afternoon. She came to visit me, gave me a treatment, and asked me to obtain a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which we did. At this time I was unable to move my body. The next afternoon I was placed in a chair, and I talked to the practitioner over the telephone. The following Monday I went back to school. I used a cane for about a week, but I have never had any recurrence of this ailment. After this healing I spent a year reading and studying Christian Science during my spare time, and I gave up all social contacts. As a result I had many wonderful healing experiences.

I wish to tell also of an instantaneous healing of enlargement of the spleen. I had suffered from this trouble for some time. A practitioner was called, and within a very short time all pain left. There has been no return of this condition.
