"And God said ... let them have dominion ... over all the earth and over every creeping thing" (Gen. 1:26). This is an absolute truth which we can demonstrate with certainty when we apply faithfully and understandingly the law of man's oneness, or unity, with the Father, as Christian Science clearly establishes with this wonderful and powerful statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy(pp. 465, 466): "Principle and its idea is one, and this one is God, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Being, and His reflection is man and the universe."

I desire to relate an experience which has given to me the tangible proof that divine Love is ever present and needs only to be acknowledged in order to be evidenced in our daily lives.

One night about four years ago I went to bed very late after a very busy day. I was suddenly seized by a great weakness, feeling as if I were slipping down into darkness, and I seemed unable to resist. I felt that I was passing on. I asked my husband to support me with his understanding of the divine presence. Suddenly I remembered that at six in the morning I had to go to another town, where someone was in great need of help. I humbly turned to God and put myself in His care. And the angel thought came (ibid., pp. 203, 204), "God is at once the centre and circumference of being." I express this being; why then be afraid? The healing was instantaneous, and I felt as if I were being lifted up and supported by a powerful wing. With the sense of secure rest, I quietly fell asleep.
