LIFT UP YOUR HEART
A great
resurgence sweeps across the earth
As cleansing fires of Truth consume the tares,
Challenging all that would oppose God's power
To liberate mankind from evil's snares.
No drifting now into some tranquil harbor,
But out into the depths of Love's great plan;
For men and nations must arise to see
One God, one Mind, one brotherhood of man.
Deep wells of faith, clear visions of the Christ,
Are needed now to hear that "Peace, be still."
This spiritual crusade must penetrate
The depths of sin, the bonds of human will.
With quiet courage let us face the right.
Christ rides the wave and speaks in tenderest tone;
God's voice is heard again: "Let there be light."
This is the hour when Spirit claims its own.
Nations shall beat their spears to pruning hooks,
And lifted hearts sing out a glad refrain,
As men fold to their hearts their fellow men,
And Mind, all-conquering Mind, is seen to reign.
