It is now many, many years since...

It is now many, many years since I first heard of Christian Science, and I gratefully testify to the blessings it has brought into my life.

One day I asked a friend who was a Christian Scientist to tell me about this Science; she responded by giving me a Sentinel to read. That reading changed the whole course of my life.

I was particularly impressed with the concept of God as All-power, without an opposite. I had believed this in the past theoretically, but now I saw that this new view of God was no mere theory, but a fundamental, demonstrable fact. I remember thinking with great satisfaction that there could be no such condition as an incurable disease, since God is all-powerful.
