INDIVIDUALITY

In his prophecy Micah foretells the victory and the glory of the church, and he says (4:4), "They shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid." Does not this statement prophesy the revelation of the completeness of individual spiritual man, who is forever free from fear?

Man, God's likeness, is free from all that would limit, confuse, or destroy. Christian Science reveals the completeness, the all-inclusiveness, of God, Mind, and consequently the completeness of His image, spiritual man. This truth is expressed individually as one demonstrates the scientific unity of God and man. The reward of spiritual devotion and obedience to this truth is the attainment of the state of being called heaven, harmony.

When Jesus said (John 14:9), "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father," perhaps he meant that one who was able to recognize the individuality which he expressed in the characteristics of divinity was seeing the individuality of God, which man reflects, made manifest to mankind. Individuality expresses the creative Principle, divine Mind, in infinite diversity.
