FROM ANNUAL REPORTS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION
Northwest Alaska
One radio program, wherein the pastor of a church Anchorage made erroneous and misleading statements about Christian Science and its teachings, required correction. A corrected statement was prepared by this Committee and was read by the pastor over the air on a subsequent broadcast. This pastor was admonished by the manager of the radio station and told that he was not to voice derogatory remarks about Christian Science or any other religion over that station.
Pamphlets printed by a church in California, and distributed locally, were brought to the attention of this Committee. These pamphlets carried incorrect quotations from the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in an attempt to compare the "Word of God with Christian Science."
