I should like to express my deep...

I should like to express my deep gratitude to Christian Science for the many proofs it has brought me of God's loving care and guidance of His children.

For several years I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School, and for this I am deeply grateful. The experience of being in the last class before leaving at the age of twenty was especially helpful and gratifying, because our teacher's loving wisdom and understanding pointed the way to meet the demands of a busy life through Christian Science.

During the Second World War, when my husband was in the service. I had the opportunity to prove over and over that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 494). At one time I made a twenty-eight-hundred-mile trip by car, which pulled a large house trailer. My mother was with me and also my daughter, who was then five years old. We relied on divine Mind to lead and guide us A practitioner worked lovingly with us during the time we were driving and, although we had several material conditions to overcome, the entire trip was made in complete harmony. While there was supposed to be a lack of housing in the congested localities, through our knowing that man in reality dwells in divine consciousness, a large, pleasantly furnished apartment was made available to us in the very house where we were living temporarily in two small rooms.
