I can truly say that I know Christian Science heals, For having been brought up in Christian Science and for its protection and wonderful benefits I offer this testimony of gratitude.

Throughout my childhood I was blessed with good health and happiness. After I was married, a son was born to us. We had much to meet at the time of his birth, as he was a premature baby. He was very tiny, and we were told by the attending physician and nurse that he could not live, but I had learned never to accept anything as true except what God tells us, and I knew that God knows only perfection. The infant would drop off into cold, lifeless spells from time to time. A Christian Science practitioner would be called at once, and within a few minutes this baby would again manifest life, and the difficulty was finally met.

During his early school days our son was far advanced scholastically, but he was very small in size for his age. However, he did not know any limitation for himself, and he attempted to take part in sports and all activities in which larger and older boys were participating, regardless of his weight, height, or material strength. Parents used to laugh at the little fellow trying to keep up with larger boys, and I would find myself joining in and laughing with them. I believe I bragged about how small he was and all the things he thought that he could do.
