Gaining spiritual consciousness has been the most glorious experience that has come to me. I knew nothing whatsoever of Christian Science, but accepted it without any reservations when it was presented to me. In fact, I knew so very little of this blessed truth that I thought it could take care of some portions of the body, leaving the rest unaffected. I know differently now, realizing in a degree the scientific facts of being, that "God created man in his own image," as stated in Genesis (1:27), and that God is incorporeal.

I shall always be grateful to the Christian Science practitioner who helped to lift me out of this false sense and who taught me pure, unadulterated Christian Science, planting in my consciousness the seed of Truth and leading my footsteps in the true way of Christ Jesus' teachings. My whole outlook on life has been changed, and I know without a doubt that, as I grow in my understanding of Christian Science, I shall be more uplifted and worthier of the great privilege that has been bestowed upon me.

Most of my healings have been slow, but I am grateful to have learned that I needed to study more, to cling more steadfastly to the divine treasures of Truth, and to recognize more clearly man's inseparability from his father-Mother God, his completeness and wholeness in reflection. One of the healings which I experienced was that of utter exhaustion, loss of appetite, and a very severe cough. Through the help of a practitioner this ill was completely met and has vanished from my experience.
